Halo Hood Pattern
The Halo Hood is a soft and warm statement piece. It’s practical and chic!
This design is worked in Fisherman’s Rib, which makes it very fluffy and light to wear.
I've knit this up in several different chunky yarns and my preference is alpaca since the result is a very soft and warm hood.
You also have the option of knitting the neck to your desired length. The pink version pictured is knitted slightly longer for more coverage.
It does stretch with wear and wash so keep that in mind.

What you'll need
Yarn: 240g of Estelle Alpaca Drift (50g = 130 m [142 yds]) 2 strands held together (pictured in navy). Or 120g of Luna by Borgo de’Pazzi (50g = 80m [88 yds]) which is a slightly thicker yarn (pictured in pink).
The 2 strand Alpaca Drift results in a softer and warmer garment.
Needles: US 10 (6mm) 24 or 32 inch [60 or 80 cm] circular needles or the needle size that helps you achieve the desired gauge.
